In the heart of Boston’s Downtown Crossing district, this Memorial commemorates victims of the Irish Famine. There are two groups of figures: one depicting the starving people in Ireland and the second showing an immigrant family to represent hope for the future. The site hosts events and memorials for the Irish community.
